I know this is often concerning vegetable oil cold cereal, but first, let’s address what we’re all thinking: will this not reasonably appear as if Honey Bunches of Oats? I didn’t mean for that to happen, on the other hand I explored at the image, and wow! There it is! my very own personal do-it-yourself new and improved version of the cereal that burning American state through early highschool.

But no. It’s not Honey Bunches of Oats.
It’s a golden, crispy, gratifyingly clustered cold cereal that's flecked with almonds, coconut flakes, oats, flax, and every one the opposite wholesome things that you just wish to eat however perhaps haven’t found the correct manner however. It’s somehow a snack and a breakfast and, magically, a dessert. And it’s naturally sweet. solely 1/4 cup of sweeteners for the entire batch.

Coconut Oil Granola Remix

INGREDIENTS :
  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup chopped pistachios
  • 1/4 cup flax seeds
  • 3/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/2 cup golden raisins, or other dried fruit
  • 1 heaping cup flaked unsweetened coconut
  • 1 heaping cup sliced almonds
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons real maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt

INSTRUCTIONS :
  1. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees.
  2. Mix everything (except the golden raisins) in a large bowl. Spread the mixture on a large baking sheet in a thin layer.
  3. Bake for 30 minutes. Stir in the golden raisins, and bake for another 15 minutes.
  4. Let the granola sit on the baking sheet for another 10-15 minutes so that clusters can form. YUMMM.
