Sitting on the pool one warm afternoon, I had a flashback of something I had seen from my pal Mitzi. It become a “recipe” for wine marinated grapes. yes! Grapes marinated in wine, tossed in sugar and frozen for a unique treat! Now if Mitzi, the vitamins professional, endorses them, I’m in!

Frozen grapes marinated in wine are an appropriate manner to relax out pool aspect, even as you’re boating or as an appetizer for any summer time get collectively. This recipe is unbelievably easy –  it calls for only some elements: grapes, wine and sugar. i like to make a large batch to snack on throughout the week. when now not coated in sugar, they make the correct “ice cubes” to maintain your wine chilled on a hot summer time day.

ultimate night as i was sitting at the Muny with the women looking the Wizard of oz, I couldn’t assist but dream to have some frozen grapes to keep my wine cool. i used to be merely halfway via my glass before my chardonnay turned into too warm to drink. maybe I’m simply not eating it fast enough?   • 3 c red grapes removed from stems
  • 1 - 2 c red wine
  • 3 Tbsp sugar


  1. Place grapes in a bowl and cover with wine. Allow to marinate refrigerated for 12+ hours.
  2. Drain grapes, toss in sugar and freeze 2 hours.
